Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Stout
This beer goes an extra mile ahead, barrels that once contained the award winning Kentucky Bourbon lend a sweet hint of caramel and vanilla to dark-roasted malts and finish with the essence of a lightly roasted coffee. The beer is brewed and aged with Haitian coffee to create the bourbon country’s own Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Stout.
Alltech partnered with Haitian farmers after the devastating earthquake there in early 2010 and uses the proceeds from coffee sales to help them with infrastructure improvements and other projects.
